So you have a gift/item in mind, and you want to support a local charity? So hire a professional Thrift Shopper (worker), provide them with gift guidance and they’l shop the store for the perfect gift for you or a friend.

We specifically work with selected charities and pass on your request directly to them along with the amount you’re willing to spend and donate + the cost of delivery. Delivery costs cover the amount it will cost to ship the item to either you or someone you’ve selected along with a bespoke written note by the Thift Shop worker.

Your donation amount will directly go to cover the cost for the item and the remainder will also be donated to the charity to support those in need, so now you can donate and gift someone in return with a once loved item.

FAQs

What type of gifts will you shop for me? Similar to our marketplace, we will shop the bookshelf, clothing, collectables, jewellery, odds & sods, plus toys & tech.

Whats the rough price of a gift? The minimum amount you can donate is $20, for this our thrift shoppers will shop the store and find an item as close as they can based on your shopping list; based on the category you’ve chosen.

What’s an example of a shopping list? If you’ve selected the ‘clothing category’ and would like us to find a size 9 pair of heels for an evening out for your 40 year old friend, tell us just that! The more information you provide, the closer to the perfect gift they’ll get for you.

What’s a bad example of a shopping list? If you select clothing and don’t supply a size, or style of shoe, you mightn’t receive the closest match to your request.

What happens if there’s no item at the Thrift Store that matches my shopping list? If one of our Thrift Shoppers can’t find an item close to your shopping list, they will pass on your shopping list to another store until a shopper can find the closest item to your request. If we still can’t find a similar item within a week, we’ll let you know and see if there’s another gift we can find for you.

What if you get the gift wrong? Is there a returns policy? Sadly, no. As you’re donating to a charity, there’s no refunds. If you don’t like the item/gift, why don’t you recycle, regift or put the the item back into circulation by re-donating it to a Thrift Store?
