Town Hall, an online networking community that is discovering, supporting and connecting pioneers in philanthropy, charity, nonprofit and social enterprise is graciously extending its arms to embrace Thrift Shop Gift Shop as it strives to become the biggest free online portal for second-hand items.
Akin to eBay, Thrift Shop Gift Shop differs in that it's for the community: it's not about making a dollar but supporting the wider community by offering an easy to use space to gift your once loved goods for less, all the while supporting charity with funds raised through the online store.
All items on the marketplace are owned by our users and uploaded onto the portal through the Thrift Your Gift page. You establish your own price for the item and 10% from each sale is donated to local charity shops.
The idea is simple: you upload something you once loved that another might want, you assign what it's worth to you and we thrift it online for free, including the marketing.
